Cookie Policy

We use the minimum necessary to keep the site working and to understand, in aggregate, which topics matter to our readers. We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, social-media embeds, or session-replay tools. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share data with ad networks or data brokers.

Site measurement is provided by Vercel Analytics, which counts page views and basic engagement using a privacy-preserving model. It does not use third-party advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Aggregate, non-identifying performance data is also collected by Vercel Speed Insights to keep the site fast on Philippine mobile networks.

We classify what we use as follows:

• Strictly necessary — items required to deliver the page you requested and to keep the site secure. These do not require consent under RA 10173.
• Privacy-preserving analytics — Vercel Analytics measurement that is essential to operating the site responsibly and carries no advertising purpose.
• Non-essential / advertising — none. We do not set them. If this ever changes, we will publish a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.

Under RA 10173 and NPC guidance, strictly-essential processing does not require an opt-in consent banner. Because we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies today, a banner would add friction without protecting you. Should we introduce non-essential analytics in future (for example, a self-hosted product-analytics tool), we will add a consent mechanism and update this policy first.

Our measurement is aggregate by design. We do not collect your name, contact details, precise location, or any data that identifies you personally through analytics. We do not fingerprint your device to follow you across sessions or other websites, and we do not sell or share analytics data with anyone. We see that a page was viewed, roughly from which country and on what class of device — never who you are.

Because we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, there is nothing for a Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to opt out of on this site. We honor the spirit of these signals by simply not engaging in the tracking they are designed to prevent. Should we ever introduce non-essential analytics, we will treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out.

Aggregate analytics are retained only for as long as they are useful for understanding site performance and content interest, and are not tied to an identifiable individual. Any browser storage we rely on for essential functionality is cleared when you clear your browser data. We do not maintain persistent advertising identifiers.

This site is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer and we will delete it.

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so does not affect your ability to read the site. Mobile browsers offer the same controls under privacy or site settings.
